Bose SoundLink Mini 2: Understanding the control buttons

Here we introduce the most common keyboard shortcuts about Bose SoundLink Mini2.
★Power: Press to turn the speaker on or off. Press and hold to check the battery charge state
When switching on for the first time Select language: Press the plus or minus key to scroll through the languages. If the correct language is mentioned, press and hold the multifunction key for a few seconds.
Show / Announce Battery Status: Hold down the power button for a long time.

★Multifunction: Controls music sources and speakerphone calls on your mobile device
To skip to the next track: Briefly press the multifunction button twice in succession.
Jump to the previous track: Press the multifunction button quickly three times in succession.
To pause music: Press the multifunction button briefly.
Answer calls: Briefly press the multifunction key once
Reject call: Press and hold the multifunction key


★Minus (-): Decreases speaker volume. Press and hold to continuously decrease the volume
Deactivating voice commands: Press and hold the plus and minus buttons simultaneously until the words "Voice commands off" are heard. To reactivate the voice commands, use the same keyboard shortcut.


★Plus (+): Increases speaker volume. Press and hold to continuously increase the volume
Select language later: Press and hold the multifunction key and the plus key simultaneously until the voice prompt for the first language is heard. Then you can use the plus or minus key to select the language and confirm this by holding down the multi-function key.
Deactivating automatic switch-off: Press and hold the plus and multi-function buttons simultaneously


★Bluetooth: Press to select the Bluetooth source. The speaker attempts to connect to the last paired device. Or, if there are no paired devices, the speaker goes into discoverable mode. Once Bluetooth is selected, press and hold to set the speaker to discoverable mode and allow pairing with another Bluetooth device
To identify the connected music player: Briefly press the Bluetooth button
To jump to the next device in the playlist: Press the Bluetooth button in quick succession, repeat this process until the correct device is announced.
To delete all saved mobile devices: Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds
Reset the speaker: Delete the speaker from the Bluetooth menu on your mobile device. Remove the speaker from the Bluetooth menu. Vote it again. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds.
